Prerequisite-Basic Manners
This class prepares you to take the Canine Good Citizen test and some Therapy Dog tests. The CGC designation is recognized by the AKC as a base level of behavior for polite dogs in the community. Skills taught included: accepting a stranger, sitting politely for petting, being groomed, loose lead walking on a plotted course, walking through crowd, sit, down, and stay, coming, reacting to another dog, reacting to a distraction and supervised separation.
